Pakistan Kyokushin Karate Federation (PKKF) has appointed Nadeem Pehlwan as the new Chairman of the Kyokushin Karate Association Punjab, according to an official notification issued on Friday, 24NewsHD TV reported.
Nadeem Pehlwan has previously served as Chairman of the Desi Kushti Federation, where he made significant contributions to promoting traditional wrestling in the country.
The notification was issued by PKKF President Faisal Abbas and PKKF President of Punjab Atta Hussain Butt, confirming his new role in the provincial karate body.
Sports officials expressed confidence that under his leadership, Kyokushin karate in Punjab will gain a new direction and stronger guidance.
Nadeem Pehlwan has vowed to continue his efforts for the training of young athletes and the promotion of martial arts and other sports across the province.
