Two children were injured after they came into contact with a kite string in Islamabad’s Gulistan Colony on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Police, which registered an FIR against unidentified kite flyers under section 324 related to attempted murder, said that one-year-old Danial and five-year-old Abu Bakar were going with their maternal uncle on a bike when a string came into contact with their necks, injuring them consequently.
A section of Anti-Flying Act was also inserted in the FIR.
The incident has occurred at a time when the people of Lahore are going to celebrate the festival of Basant from tomorrow, and the Punjab government has asked all motorcyclists to install safety rods on their bikes.
