A three-year-old child lost his life after falling into an open drain in the Nadir Shah Colony area of Old Nawabshah on Thursday.
The child, identified as Muhammad Shazal, accidentally fell into a dirty drain while playing outside his home. Family members and neighbors rushed to rescue him and pulled him out of the drain, but unfortunately, he did not survive.
The body of the child was shifted to PMC Hospital. Authorities have not yet commented on any safety measures in the area to prevent similar tragedies.
