Abhishek Bachchan has firmly shut down persistent rumours circulating on social media about his alleged marital issues with wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, calling such speculation baseless.
In a recent interview, the Dasvi actor addressed the buzz about a supposed rift in his marriage.
“I go back home to a happy family,” he said as he credited his wife Aishwarya for maintaining peace and emotional balance in their personal lives, regardless of the noise outside.
“One thing is for sure, first my mother (Jaya Bachchan) and now my wife (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), they don’t allow that outside world to come in there,” he said.
The actor, who hails from one of Bollywood’s most iconic families, added that growing up in the industry has taught him to differentiate between reality and gossip.
“I have grown up in this film industry, so I also know what to take seriously and what not to take seriously. I don’t get affected by what’s happening on social media,” he asserted.
Rumours of trouble between the Bachchan couple have been making the rounds for months, with some fans pointing to Aishwarya’s reduced appearances at family gatherings and selective social media activity.
Others speculated a growing distance due to alleged disagreements involving the extended Bachchan clan.
However, neither Abhishek nor Aishwarya have publicly acknowledged such reports – and now, Abhishek’s latest remarks appear to silence the gossip mill once and for all.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2007 and share a daughter, Aaradhya, have often found themselves the target of online rumours.
However, Abhishek’s latest comments seem to put an end to divorce speculations – at least for now.
