Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi extols martyred captain

Paying rich tributes to martyred captain Karnal Sher Khan on his 27th death anniversary, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi said on Sunday that the nation saluted the late captain who instilled fear in the hearts of the enemy during the Kargil conflict.

In a message, he said that the brave officer, who gave an extremely tough time to the Indian forces, still lived in the hearts of Pakistanis. “By fighting valiantly, the late captain foiled the nefarious designs of the enemy’s forces,” he said, adding that in the presence of officers and jawans like him, nobody could cast an evil eye on Pakistan.

Punjab CM Maryam also pays homage

Paying homage to the martyred captain, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that the Pakistani nation saluted its brave son. “Even India later acknowledged that Sher Khan showed courage and valour during the war,” she said, and added, “The martyred captain gave nightmares to the Indian forces.”
