Rwanda’s envoy applauds Pakistan’s success in Iran-US mediation

Rwanda's High Commissioner to Pakistan, Harerimana Fatou, has said that Pakistan has played a significant role in the successful mediation between Iran and the United States, from the Islamabad talks to the signing of the agreement, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday. 

Addressing a ceremony in connection with 32nd National Independence Day of Rwanda, the High Commissioner of Rwanda congratulated the Pakistani government on the historic achievement. 

The High Commissioner said bilateral relations between Rwanda and Pakistan are deep and she is eager to further improve them. 

The dinner was organized by the Rwandan High Commission in Islamabad, which was attended by a large number of diplomatic, political and social figures. 

The national anthems of Rwanda and Pakistan were played at the beginning. 

In her address, Rwandan High Commissioner Harerimana Fatou applauded Pakistan's success in mediation. 

Haririmana Fatou said that friendly bilateral and multilateral cooperation has been established between Rwanda and Pakistan in various fields, which is based on shared historical experiences and security challenges faced by neighbouring countries. 

On this occasion, the special guest, Minister of State for Law and Justice, Barrister Aqeel Malik, said that relations between Pakistan and Rwanda have improved in various fields. 

He said Rwanda's Independence Day was the beginning of the end of genocide in Rwanda and the restoration of peace and stability. 

The guests cut the cake together. Earlier, a documentary video was also shown regarding the development journey of the Republic of Rwanda.
