The fire that had erupted at an oil factory in Manga Mandi, Lahore was finally doused after the hectic efforts of one hour on Thursday, but not before it reduced oil and goods worth millions of rupees to ashes, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the Rescue 1122 officials, the fire erupted in the factory after a boiler exploded due to leakage.
However, the officials said that no loss of life was reported in the incident.
On Tuesday, a bus, which was parked at a petrol pump in Pattoki, near Lahore and not far from Manga Mandi, suddenly caught fire due to short-circuit, which later engulfed another bus parked nearby.
Soon after receiving the report of the incident, a Rescue 1122 team reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
Rescue sources further informed that nobody was present inside the buses at the time of the fire.
