Eleven officers of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) have been promoted from Assistant Director to Deputy Director, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
After the approval of the Ministry of Interior, Grade 17 officers were promoted to Grade 18.
In this regard, a notification was issued with the approval of the Director General FIA.
According to notification, 8 officers were promoted on a permanent basis while 4 were promoted on an acting charge basis.
Muhammad Waqas Rasool was appointed Deputy Director Law, Headquarters Islamabad while Sajid Ali was appointed Deputy Director Law FIA Faisalabad Zone.
Muhammad Sajjad and Sania Imtiaz were appointed Deputy Directors Law Wing Islamabad while Khushnood Ahmed was appointed Deputy Director in Islamabad Zone and Shahbaz Noor was appointed Deputy Director in Peshawar Zone.
Further, Jamal Subhani was appointed Deputy Director Law in HRM Directorate Islamabad while Mehak Abbas Lahore, Omar Saeed Balochistan and Muhammad Faisal were appointed in Karachi Zone as Deputy Directors.
Similarly, Mahmudullah Khan Farrukh was assigned the charge of CTW at FIA Headquarters.
