Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced to launch two mega projects in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
In this regard, approval was given to issue a tender for the design of the project and hiring a consultant.
Under first project, Capital Development Authority will launch underpass project at Kashmir Chowk.
Kashmir Chowk underpass project will provide signal-free corridors to traffic coming from Murree and Kashmir.
Construction of new loops at Kashmir Chowk project will provide unhindered access to Club Road, Srinagar Highway, Ataturk Avenue and Red Zone commuters.
CDA has also started work on a project to divert GT Road traffic to the motorway via Margalla Avenue.
Project design has been completed and feasibility report is ready.
One loop and two underpasses to be constructed on Margalla Road projects.
