Anti-Corruption Balochistan has arrested five chief officers of four municipal committees on charges of embezzling millions of rupees.
Those arrested include Chief Officers Muhammad Yaqub Sherani, Bashir Pilal, Abdul Majeed, Bashir Sadaya and former Chief Officer Manzoor Ahmed.
Sources said that Anti-Corruption team took action on the instructions of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and DG Anti-Corruption. The arrested chief officers belong to Mach, Awsta Muhammad and Musakhel.
