The Committee for Disposal of Legislative Cases (CCLC) has approved two bills related to journalist protection and enforced disappearances on Tuesday.
This was informed by the Federal Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari in a tweet in which she said that both the bills were very critical.
She confirming to table both the bills in the next National Assembly session also said in her tweet that this was a major step forward in strengthening human rights by PTI.
Today CCLC approved 2 very critical bills: Journalist Protection Bill and the Enforced Disappearances bill which criminalizes enforced disappearances. This is major step forward in strengthening human rights by PTI govt. Will be tabled in next NA session, after cabinet approval
