Old Anarkali police on Monday arrested three policemen for looting a trader in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Police said that the trader who was later identified as Mushtaq Ahmad arrived in Lahore for business purpose.
According to first information report (FIR), five policemen including some Dolphin Force personnel intercepted businessman Mushtaq and after harassing him and demanded for money.
The FIR further stated that the trader withdrew rupees one lakh cash from ATM and after handing over the amount to the waiting policemen secured his release.
Police also obtained CCTV footage of the incident showing the trader withdrawing the cash from ATM.
All the policemen were performing security duty at the time when the trader was withdrawing the cash from ATM.
Policemen Imran, Usman, Mohsin and Aftab including Dolphin Force personnel were nominated in the first information report.
