The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has been decreased for the month of May despite prevailing regional tensions, offering slight relief to consumers in Pakistan.
According to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of LPG has been decreased by 31 paisa per kilogram.
Following the revision, the cost of an 11.8 kg domestic LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs3.69. The new price per kilogram has been fixed at Rs303.81, while the price of a domestic cylinder now stands at Rs3,584.90.
The regulator confirmed that the revised prices will be applicable throughout May.
The reduction comes amid ongoing uncertainty in regional markets, though authorities have passed on the benefit of price adjustments to local consumers.
