Dry weather is expected to prevail across most parts of the country tonight, with hot conditions likely to intensify in southern districts, according to the latest forecast.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department said that while the overall weather will remain dry, strong winds and thundershowers are anticipated at isolated locations in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan Azad Kashmir and adjoining hilly area.
For Wednesday, hot and dry weather is expected in Islamabad and its surrounding areas.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, most upper districts are likely to experience hot and dry conditions, while southern parts of the province may face extremely hot weather.
Across Punjab, similar hot and dry conditions are expected in most districts. However, southern areas may witness extremely hot weather accompanied by dusty winds.
In Sindh, extremely hot and dry weather is forecast for the majority of districts, intensifying heatwave-like conditions.
Meanwhile, Balochistan is also expected to experience predominantly hot and dry weather in most districts, including its southern belt.
According to the data, the highest temperatures recorded on Tuesday were in Turbat at 45°C, followed by Lasbela and Mithi at 44°C, Chhor at 43°C, and Mirpurkhas at 42°C.
