Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan demands Chief Justice take immediate notice of the Senator and PTI leader Azam Swati issue.
Imran Khan while strongly condemning the issue of Azam Swati said that Pakistan was created on Islamic moral values of human dignity, honour of the family & inviolability of chadar & chardawari. “What has happened to Azam Swati at the hands of the State has been a blatant violation of all these values.”
He requested the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take action, “I call on the CJP to take suo moto notice of this.”
Imran Khan said that what the Senator and his wife have been going through is shocking and utterly condemnable.

On the other hand, PTI leaders including Fawad Chaudhry, Farrukh Habib, Shaukat Tarin, and other also expressed grief over it.
Fawad Chaudhry said that he has been feeling sad after the press conference of Swati. He said that it is because of Imran Khan that Pakistan didn’t have to face a situation like that in Sri Lanka.
