Skardu-bound AirBlue flight PA-251 scheduled to depart at 11am from Islamabad was suddenly cancelled causing worries among passengers on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The AirBlue officials were unable to give reasons for the cancellation. The situation appeared tense as the PIA had already cancelled its flight to Skardu.
Passengers gathered in front of the AirBlue office to withdraw tickets.
Passengers complained that the weather is clear, but cancellation was not announced in time.
However, AirBlue officials said Skardu flight cancelled due to bad weather.
The flight will not be able to depart today due to bad weather, officials said.
Officials announced that passengers are being given refunds for tickets.
