An avalanche in Norway killed two skiers and injured two others, police announced on Monday.
The fatalities were a woman in her 20s and a man in his 30s, said a police statement.
The incident happened at around 11:00 am (0900 GMT) near the Hemsedal ski station northwest of Oslo, catching four people.
Rescue teams, volunteers, and a helicopter were mobilised to find and recover the victims.
According to media reports, the dead man was Swedish. It was not clear how badly hurt the two injured skiers were.
