Country Director of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Xiaoqin (Emma) Fan on Wednesday visited the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) and met with central officials to discuss the performance of Pakistan’s textile sector.
During the visit, she held detailed discussions on the outlook for global textile exports and explored strategies to enhance both the volume and value of Pakistan’s textile exports.
The delegation included Asad Aleem, Deputy Country Director, Khayyam Abbasi, Program Officer Shahryar Chaudhry, Senior Investment Officer and Ismail Khan, Unit Head, Media, Communications, and Public Policy.
Central Chairman Kamran Arshad, Northern Zone Chairman Asad Shafi, Haroon Elahi Sheikh, Muhammad Ali, Mr. Ahsan Shahid, senior executives, and Secretary General Raza Baqi along with other leading exporters and members of the association, were present on the occasion.
