Blake Lively has become the latest celebrity to be hilariously spoofed by rising Los Angeles comedian Michael Pavano, known for his viral impersonations, including a recent roast of Sydney Sweeney during the backlash to her American Eagle campaign.
Pavano released a satirical video titled 'The Blake Lively Deposition' shortly after the Gossip Girl star’s high-profile legal appearance in New York City, where she gave evidence under oath in her ongoing lawsuit against It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni. Lively has accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign, in a legal battle that’s set to go to trial in March 2026.
In the skit, Pavano dons a blonde wig and stacks of beanies, mimicking Lively’s viral wardrobe from the film and portrays a dramatised version of the actress answering deposition questions with diva-like flair and satirical comments. When asked why she brought eight lawyers with her, his Lively character quips, “That’s because they keep quitting… and walking in with eight lawyers looks bada**. Doesn’t it, Justin?”
Pavano's parody pokes fun at Lively’s alleged behaviour on set, with jabs about her taking over craft services, rewriting the script, and even controlling premiere logistics. One moment in the skit references a claim that Baldoni's family was asked to stay in the basement during the NYC premiere to make room for “a floral archway.”
This mock deposition is part of a growing library of celebrity parodies by Pavano, who now boasts nearly 1.2 million followers across Instagram and TikTok. His video of Sydney Sweeney, which mocked her denim ad campaign, also went viral last week amid “woke” criticism of the actress’s brand collaboration.
The ongoing feud between Lively and Baldoni has captivated Hollywood, with leaked documents, doctored texts, and contradictory video footage painting a murky picture of behind-the-scenes tensions. While Lively previously alleged that Baldoni harassed her off-mic, later footage showed the two chatting amicably on set with microphones clearly on.
Last month, a judge dismissed most of Baldoni’s $400 million countersuit against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, a development the actress called her “vindication.” However, the legal battle is far from over, with more depositions expected and Lively’s legal team subpoenaing over 100 online creators accused of spreading negative content allegedly linked to a targeted campaign.
