The federal government has notified the appointment, transfer, and posting of officers across various ministries and departments.
According to a notification issued by the Establishment Division, Muhammad Arif Tehseen—who was awaiting posting—has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the National Food Security Division. Raheel Ahmed Cheema, a Grade-19 officer of the Secretariat Group posted at the NDMA, has been transferred and appointed as an OSD in the Establishment Division.
Deputy Secretary Faisal Karim Qureshi has been transferred from the Ministry of IT to the Prime Minister's Office, while the transfer of Deputy Secretary Parveen Mubarak from the Finance Division to the Establishment Division has been cancelled.
Ch Zubair Ahmed, previously serving as DCFA and Chief Accounts Officer for Pakistan Railways in Lahore, has been transferred and appointed as Director of Finance and Development at the Women Protection Authority, Lahore. Additionally, the contract of Syed Waqas—Director of ITU & UN at the Ministry of IT—has been extended by another six months; the Establishment Division has issued formal notifications regarding all these appointments and transfers.
