Pakistani exports to Afghanistan increased by 42 percent in first five months of fiscal year, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Sources said that in November 2024, exports to Afghanistan increased by 17 percent on an annual basis.
A huge increase of 2244 percent in sugar exports to Afghanistan in July-November 2024 was recorded, the sources said.
Sources said that sugar exports account for the largest share of Pakistani exports to Afghanistan.
In July-November, Pakistani exports to Afghanistan was amounted to $578.7 million while in the same period last year, exports to Afghanistan were $408.8 million.
In November 2024, the volume of Pakistani exports to Afghanistan was $128.5 million while in November 2023, the volume of exports to Afghanistan was $110 million.
Sugar exports to Afghanistan in November 2024 were $138.9 million while sugar exports to Afghanistan in the same period last year were $5.9 million.
