The Establishment Division on Friday released a fresh set of orders regarding transfers, postings and deputation extensions of several federal and provincial officers across multiple departments.
According to the official notification, DIG Muhammad Ashfaq Alam (Grade 20), serving in the Balochistan government, has been transferred and instructed to report back to the Establishment Division.
Mir Afzal Khan (Grade 20), who had been awaiting posting in the Establishment Division, has been appointed Joint Secretary in the National Security Division.
In other changes, Deputy Secretary Aqsa Liaquat has been transferred from the Economic Affairs Division to the Climate Change Division, while Sajid Khan (Grade 18), from the Pakistan Customs Service and currently posted at NIPA Peshawar, has been repatriated to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Several deputation-based appointments have also been approved.
Ali Bakhsh Shar, an officer of the Sindh Education Department, has been posted as Assistant Director in the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) for three years.
Nuzhat Hussain from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department has been appointed on deputation at the Directorate of Education, Islamabad, also for three years.
Khan Zeb, Assistant Director in the Federal Ministry of Education, has been posted as Assistant Director in NDMA on a three-year deputation.
Additionally, the government has approved extensions in deputation periods for several officers:
Habibur Rehman, Assistant Director at the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination currently serving in BISP, has received a one-year extension.
Muhammad Arif Hussain, Accounts Officer from the AG Office Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on deputation in the Education Department, has been granted a two-year extension.
Sameera Bashir, Subject Specialist from the Azad Kashmir Education Department serving in FGE Cantt & Garrison, has also had her deputation extended by two years.
The latest reshuffle is aimed at strengthening administrative capacity across key federal and provincial institutions, ensuring smoother coordination and improved service delivery.
