Three people were killed when a motor car travelling from Ghizer to Rawalpindi plunged into a deep ditch near Tris Banda on the Karakoram Highway in Lower Kohistan, Rescue 1122 said.
According to Rescue 1122, the accident occurred when the vehicle went out of control and fell into the ditch. Emergency teams were dispatched to the site soon after receiving information about the incident.
Rescue officials said the operation to retrieve the bodies from the ditch was underway.
They said the deceased belonged to Ghizer and Chilas.
