The Pakistan People's Party has announced its candidates for the National Assembly from Sindh province for the upcoming general elections. The list of 53 candidates was issued by the PPP’s Chairman Secretariat on Friday.
According to the list, Chairman Pakistan People's Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and former President Asif Ali Zardari will contest the election from Sindh. Bilawal will run from Larkana NA-194, while Zardari will run from NA-207 Shaheed Benazarabad.
Other prominent candidates include former MNA Khurshid Shah from Sukkur 201, Shazia Mari Sanghar from NA 209, Agha Rafiullah from Karachi NA 230, Abdul Hakeem Baloch from NA 231, Kadir Mandukil from Kemari NA 242, Kadir Patel from NA 243, Nabil Gabol from NA-239, Jam Abdul Kareem Jokhio from NA 229, Irfan Leghari from Dadu NA 227 and Rafiq Ahmed Jamali from NA 228.
The PPP is confident of winning a majority of seats from Sindh and forming the next government in the province. The party has also formed alliances with other regional parties to strengthen its position in the rest of the country.
