Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem on Monday ordered the transfer and posting of 15 police officers with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued by the Punjab Police, Zahid Nawaz Marwat (PSP/BS-19) has been transferred from AIG Operations, Central Police Office (CPO), Punjab, and posted as SSP, Police School of Intelligence, Lahore.
Muhammad Sarfraz Virk (PSP/BS-19), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as AIG Operations, CPO Punjab, replacing Zahid Nawaz Marwat.
Saad Afridi (PSP/BS-18), previously awaiting posting, has been posted as SP Investigation, Nankana Sahib, while Shaukat Ali Sheikh (PSP/BS-18) has been transferred from SP Investigation, Nankana Sahib, and posted as Additional Director, Central-I, SPU Punjab, Lahore.
Muhammad Nauman Zafar (PSP/BS-18), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed Additional SP Sadar Division, Multan. Muhammad Munir Badar (PP/BS-18) has been transferred from Additional SP Sadar Division, Multan, and posted as SP Investigation, Lodhran.
The notification also stated that Zafar Javed Malik (BS-18), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed SP Operations-DIC3, Okara District. He will also perform duties at PPIC-3, Lahore.
Among other transfers, Hassan Raza has been posted as SSP RIB Multan Region, Muhammad Essa Khan as Deputy Director Administration, Elite Police Force Punjab, Farrukh Javed as SP Investigation Bahawalpur, Syed Jamshaid Ali as Battalion Commander (3), Police Constabulary Multan, Jahandad Akram as SP CCD Dera Ghazi Khan Region, Aadil Aamir has been transferred to the Central Police Office, Punjab, Lahore, and Raza Ullah Khan has been posted as SP Operations-DIC3, Jhang District. He will also look after the office of SSP Operations IC3 Faisalabad Region.
The transfers and postings will take effect immediately and remain in force until further orders, according to the notification.
