A case has been registered against YouTuber Nadeem Mubarak, also known as Naniwala, at the Defence C Police Station on the complaint of a traffic police officer.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), the complaint was lodged by traffic police officer Fahadur Rehman. The case has been registered under provisions relating to negligent and reckless driving as well as interference in official government duties.
The FIR states that traffic police officials signalled an unregistered vehicle with tinted windows to stop. However, instead of complying, the driver allegedly sped away and drove the vehicle on a one-way road.
According to the FIR, when traffic police officers pursued the vehicle, the driver allegedly attempted to hit their vehicle during the chase.
The FIR states that the accused later parked the vehicle at his residence in Defence Phase 7 and allegedly continued threatening the traffic police officials.
Police said the accused was identified as Nadeem Mubarak, son of Mubarak Ali. The FIR also alleges that he threatened an on-duty traffic police officer.
The complainant has requested legal action against the accused in accordance with the law.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
