A young man shot dead his father in Gulistan-e-Johar area in the port city Karachi on Sunday for reasons yet to be ascertained, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
After committing the murder, the accused managed to flee from the crime scene.
Police reached the spot and shifted the body to a morgue.
The reasons behind the killing have not been yet ascertained by the authorities.
