Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan has called a session on March 9 at 10 am for the presidential election.
According to a notification, the speaker convened the meeting by exercising the powers conferred under Clause B of Rule 9 of the Presidential Election Rules 1988.
During the session, the members of the Punjab Assembly will exercise their right to vote for the election of the new president, Muhammad Khan said.
