Pakistani actress Javeria Saud has been severely criticized for crying inconsolably throughout the Naat recitation during her live Ramazan transmission. Fans labelled her emotional gesture as fake and considered that maybe her action was motivated by a desire for attention and good ratings for the show.
A video from the Ramadan transmission is making rounds on social media in which Javeria, clad in graceful orange attire with nude makeup, bursts into overwhelmed emotions and tears while Sherry Raza and Ahmed Raza Qadri recite a soulful Naat Bhar Do Jholi during the show.

As soon as the video emerged on social media, Internet users started bashing her for her action. A fan wrote in the comment section, “This is all happening for rating”. Another stated, “What’s the purpose of all this drama, sit at home and do participate in worship”. A social media fan stated, “They have forgotten Akhirat and have become worldly, they don’t think of Allah’s forgiveness but do take part in such acts”.
