Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra is set to return to the Oscars stage as a presenter for the 98th Academy Awards, the Academy announced on Thursday.
She will join Hollywood stars Robert Downey Jr., Anne Hathaway and Gwyneth Paltrow as part of a star-studded lineup of presenters for the world’s biggest awards ceremony.
Priyanka shared the exciting news on her Instagram account, writing, “The 2026 Academy Awards.” She has previously presented at the Oscars during its 88th edition in 2016.
In addition, she has graced other major award shows including the Golden Globe Awards and the Primetime Emmy Awards. Bollywood star Deepika Padukone also presented at the Oscars in 2023, the year when RRR won Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu.
The Academy has announced several other presenters for this year’s ceremony, including Will Arnett, Paul Mescal, Adrien Brody, Javier Bardem, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Chase Infiniti, Mikey Madison, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Maya Rudolph, and Zoe Saldaña.
Meanwhile, the awards buzz is high this year as Ryan Coogler’s Sinners has made history by becoming the most-nominated film in Academy Awards history with 16 nominations, surpassing the previous record of 14 nominations held by All About Eve, Titanic, and La La Land. Other major contenders include Hamnet, Sentimental Value, One Battle After Another, and Frankenstein.
The 98th Oscars ceremony will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Dolby Theatre in Ovation Hollywood.
On the work front, Priyanka was last seen in the action-thriller The Bluff, available on Amazon Prime Video. She will next star in S.S. Rajamouli’s Telugu film Varanasi alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, portraying the character Mandakini.
The film is scheduled for release on April 7, 2027. Priyanka also has the second season of the web series Citadel in the pipeline, further showcasing her versatility across international projects.
