Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Aurangzeb has said that Pakistan’s economy is moving in the right direction despite challenges, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Wednesday.
While addressing an event in Islamabad, the Federal Finance Minister said that “our topmost priority is the private sector’s contribution to national progress and development”.
Senator Mohammad Aurangzeb said that “currently we are focusing on the current account". He said that we are praying for an early end to the Iran-USA conflict.
Mohammad Aurangzeb said that Pakistan is engaged in diplomatic efforts to end the conflict in the region.
Federal Minister for Finance Mohammad Aurangzeb said that Pakistan will strengthen its financial system with the help of international organisations.
He said that energy will be generated through solar, wind, and hydro. Senator Mohammad Aurangzeb said that despite challenges, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) is stable.
