Emboldened by the trust of Pakistanis in their airline, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced to increase the number of its direct flights from Islamabad to Manchester from two to three keeping in view the unexpected volume of passengers following resumption of airline's flights to the UK, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
The national flag carrier is already operating two flights between these two cities every week since October 25.
But now encouraged by the fact that all seats in its Manchester-bound flights have been booked three months in advance, it has decided to start its third flight from December 11, which would shuttle between Islamabad and Manchester on Thursday.
The national flag carrier has also ensured the availability of Boeing 777 for its third flight.
