Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is set to resume flights from Islamabad to Manchester on October 25 after many years, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The British High Commissioner Jane Marriott while hailing PIA's return, said that Pakistani airline's return to British skies is a historic moment, as PIA flight will bring people of both countries closer together.
British High Commissioner said that resumption of travel links is a positive step for trade and tourism, as new PIA flight from Islamabad to Manchester will open a new chapter in Pak-UK relations.
Moreover, PIA's return will provide convenience to the Pakistani community in the UK. The British officials appreciate the initiative of the PIA management, as Pakistani flag carrier to fly to British skies again.
