The Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) has elected new office-bearers for all 17 key positions, with Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain becoming the new President and Provincial Minister Chaudhry Shafay Hussain assuming the role of Chairman.

All officials were elected unopposed, reflecting consensus within the national kabaddi fraternity.

The election meeting was attended by two representatives from the International Kabaddi Federation, along with officials from the Pakistan Olympic Association and the Pakistan Sports Board.

Members of the house unanimously approved the new leadership through a show of hands.

Among the newly elected officials, Col Nabeel Ahmed Rana, Lt Commander Kaleemullah, and Rai Muhammad Asghar have been chosen as the vice presidents.

Muhammad Sarwar Rana has been elected as Secretary General, and Akhtar Abbas Khawaja as Associate Secretary.

Meanwhile, Rana Amjad Iqbal has been elected as Joint Secretary, and Sohail Ahmed Khan will serve as the Treasurer.

In addition, Sultan Syed Ali Shah, Humaira Latif, Faiza Batool, Fareeha Shabbir, and Saba Naz have been elected as Executive Members.

During the session, important announcements were made regarding upcoming international kabaddi tournaments.

The Kabaddi World Cup is scheduled to be held next year in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, while the Women’s Kabaddi World Cup will take place in Bangladesh this December, with Pakistan’s women’s team set to participate.

The official schedule for the World Cup will be released in January.

Addressing the meeting, the newly elected leadership expressed determination to build competitive national teams and enhance Pakistan’s international standing in kabaddi.

The federation also decided that players seeking to participate in foreign leagues or tournaments will now be required to obtain a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the PKF before representing any overseas team.

The unopposed elections and the inclusion of international observers were hailed as a positive step toward transparency and professionalism within the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation.
