The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday announced support for a 6-party strike in Balochistan on September 8.
According to 24NewsHD TV, the PTI had joined the strike on jailed former prime minister Imran Khan's instructions from the notorious Adiala Jail.
BNP (Mengal), Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, ANP, National Party, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen are joining the strike.
The wheel-jam and shutter-down strike has been announced against the Shahwani Stadium suicide attack.
The PTI said that precious lives were lost in the suicide attack because the government failed to provide security to people participating in an anti-government rally.
Khan's party announced that people's voice cannot be suppressed. It said that struggle for democracy, peace and justice will continue with more determination.
