Two armed men were killed in exchange of fire with police in Swabi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to police sources, the exchange of fire continued for 10 minutes between police and armed men which caused panic in the area.
The deceased were identified as Amjad son of Khalid and Subhanullah son of Sherzada. Both slain men belong to Kotha village.
Two pistols, mobile phones and cartridges were recovered from the possession of the accused.
However, one accused managed to escape during the firing.
The accused's motorcycle was seized by the police.
