Fans bashed her for her action and suggested that place was not an appropriate for such behavior: on the other hand, many condemned the woman for her conduct of taking a selfie during the funeral.
A prayer meeting to pay tribute to late actor Manoj Kumar, who passed away a few days ago, took place and numerous film stars were present at the gathering and showed their respects to the actor.
Jaya Bachchan was one of the attendees: however, what drew the attention of netizens was a video of Jaya Bachchan furiously interacting and dismissing a woman after she asked for a photo.
The senior actress was donning a complete white salwar suit, while approached by a woman at the entrance of the complex. The woman's husband was also seen filming their encounter in mobile.
Netizens reacted to the same, some supported her action while others considered it inappropriate.
A social media user wrote, "Ye koi jagah hai...ni aap hi bataiye ye koi jagah hai." Another said: "People trying to click pics in prayer meet should be kicked out. This time, Jaya is right."
