Expressing indignation over the failure of the attorney general (AG) to appear in the court, Justice Aalia Neelum, Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC), on Monday remarked that she came prepared to the court but the AG did not show up, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the hearing of the Anti-Rape Act implementation case, she said, “The entire society is perturbed over the rising incidents of rape.”
Ordering the attorney general to appear at the next hearing, the court adjourned the case’s hearing until April 14.
