Pakistani television icon Nadia Khan delivered a playful “roast” of superstar actor Humayun Saeed on the drama review show Kya Drama Hai, following a humorous controversy that started months earlier.
The incident occurred during a podcast in which Humayun, referring to Nadia Khan and veteran actress Atiqa Odho, called them his “elder sisters” (Bari Behan), sparking laughter and debate about age dynamics in the industry.
On the show, Nadia Khan sat alongside Atiqa Odho, Marina Khan, and Rubina Ashraf, while host Mukarram Kaleem guided the discussion.
The roast unfolded when Nadia Khan highlighted the irony of Humayun Saeed calling his contemporaries “Bari Behan” while still starring opposite much younger actresses such as Sajal Aly and Yumna Zaidi.
In her energetic style, she quipped, “He will soon say Mehwish Hayat and Mahira Khan are also like his elder sisters while he wears special lenses to look younger!”
Adding to the humor, Nadia jokingly claimed that she and Atiqa “raised” Humayun, using exaggerated gestures to show how “small” he once was.
She playfully mimicked patting him on the head with rhythmic chants of “Chupak, chupak, ta!” to mock how he supposedly forgot his roots after becoming a superstar.
Atiqa Odho clarified the reality, referencing a telefilm they had done together, emphasizing that there was no actual “elder sister” dynamic in their professional work.
Nadia also called Humayun’s comments “cringe” and “insecure,” suggesting he may be experiencing a “middle-age crisis” by distancing himself from his actual age group.

The segment highlighted a broader industry issue, male actors often maintain “youthful” roles, while female actors are pushed into maternal or elder labels.
The controversy originally began when Atiqa Odho appeared on a talk show and, in one segment, advised host Fahad Mustafa that male actors should be cautious about working with actresses half their age.
Fahad Mustafa responded sarcastically, suggesting that Atiqa herself should undergo cosmetic surgery to look younger, humorously implying that she could then be cast opposite younger actors.
Humayun Saeed was present during that exchange and laughed along with Fahad. However, both Atiqa and Fahad later apologized, with Atiqa taking the first step toward reconciliation.
