Former PPP member of the National Assembly and Sindh Assembly from Jacobabad, Mir Ahmed Nawaz alias Babul Khan Jakhrani, passed away at his home in Karachi Defence after a prolonged illness.
The body of Mir Babul Khan Jakhrani was transferred from Karachi to his hometown of Jacobabad, where the funeral prayers were offered and a large number of political, social and tribal figures attended.
Mir Babul Khan Jakhrani was a prominent figure in political life, having been a member of the Sindh Assembly from 1988 to 1990 and a member of the National Assembly from 1993 to 1996. The late Mir Babul Khan Jakhrani was the father of the current PPP MNA Jacobabad Mir Ijaz Hussain Jakhrani and the uncle of PPP MPA Mir Mumtaz Khan Jakhrani.
And he enjoyed great respect and status in family and tribal circles.
