The Punjab government has directed National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK) to submit a detailed report about discovery of gold deposits in Punjab by April 30, 2026, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to details, gold deposits worth billions of rupees are currently available in Mianwali and Attock.
Sources said that after the NESPAK report, the government will hold an international auction for the gold deposit.
Initial reports confirmed the availability of a gold deposit, but the government is waiting for the final report of NESPAK.
Sources further revealed that huge gold reservoirs are also available in Mianwali and the River Sutlej.
