District administration Islamabad and Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) Building Control Department in a joint operation have sealed 30 buildings in Hostel City for violation of building code, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
The operation was supervised by Assistant Commissioner Nellore.
According to spokesperson, the teams also removed encroachments in Hostel City.
A contingent of Islamabad Police remained present at the spot during the operation.
The building owners have been given notices several times before.
The sealing was carried out for continuous violation of building code.
