The Pakistani rupee continued its positive run against the US dollar though at snail’s pace in the interbank market by registering seventh consecutive gain on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the local currency appreciated by only two paisas against the greenback and ended the day at Rs284.12.

On Wednesday, the Pakistani rupee had registered a nominal increase against the US dollar, settling for the day at Rs284.14.

In a key development, the Ministry of Finance is all set to share the list of banks involved in illegal business relating to LCs and speculation in the foreign currency market with the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
