At least five people were killed and four others injured in a tragic collision between a passenger bus and a car on the Zhob–Dera Ismail Khan National Highway near Saliaza on Monday, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.
According to officials, all individuals travelling in the Fielder vehicle were employees of the People’s Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI).
They were returning to Zhob after completing their duty at the Basic Health Unit (BHU) in Sherani district when the fatal accident occurred.
Rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
The incident has caused deep grief in the local community, particularly among colleagues and families of the PPHI staff members who lost their lives.
