A vehicle in the convoy of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Abdul Ghani Afridi from PK-71 overturned while returning from the party’s Peshawar rally, resulting in the death of a party worker and injuries to three others, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.
According to police sources, a PTI worker identified as Haseeb lost his life in the accident, while three individuals sustained injuries when the vehicle overturned.
The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident involving the MPA’s convoy.
