Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) will face the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) in the final of the President’s Trophy Grade-I 2025-26, scheduled from Sunday to Thursday at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
The winners will claim the President’s Trophy along with Rs 7.5 million, while the runners-up will receive Rs 4 million, totaling a prize pool of Rs 12.7 million.
The match will be broadcast live on PTV Sports and streamed on Tapmad.
SNGPL secured the top spot in the seven-round league phase with five wins and 137 points, while WAPDA claimed second place with four victories and 120 points.
SNGPL enter the final following a 23-run victory over OGDCL in their last league game, highlighted by a standout performance from Sajid Khan.
WAPDA, meanwhile, qualified despite a loss to State Bank of Pakistan, where Nabi Gul’s 72 runs anchored their chase.
The two sides have already met this season, with WAPDA defeating SNGPL by eight wickets at Karachi’s SBP Stadium.
Speaking ahead of the match, SNGPL captain Mohammad Rizwan said his side had earned their place in the final through consistent performances in the tournament.
“We will need to play good cricket to defeat a strong WAPDA side,” he said.
WAPDA captain Khalid Usman said his team had a balanced combination of experienced and young players.
“We defeated SNGPL in the league stage and expect a tough contest in the final as well,” he said.
