A woman was found murdered at her residence in the Khara Road area of Kasur, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday.
According to Police officials, the victim’s body, with her hands and feet bound, was recovered from a bedroom of a house located near the Khara Road police post.
Initial investigations suggested that the woman was killed with a sharp-edged weapon.
Police said the suspects fled the scene after committing the crime.
Upon receiving information, police from the Model Police Station A-Division reached the spot, took the body into custody, and shifted it for medico-legal examination.
The officials said evidence was being collected from the crime scene to ascertain the motive behind the killing, while further investigation is underway.
No arrests had been made by the time of filing this report, police added.
