ZAB’s 76th birth anniversary celebrated in Britain

The 76th birth anniversary of former prime minister and PPP founder Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was celebrated in the United Kingdom with great sense of jubilation and enthusiasm, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.


The anniversary function of the late Quid-e-Awam was arranged by UK PPP leader Ch Javed Akhtar in Bradford.


Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had founded the PPP (UK Chapter) in Bradford county.


The function was attended by PPP (Britain) President Mohsin Bari, Rizwan Qureshi who is cousin of former president Asif Ali Zardari, and PPP UK Central Secretary General Azhar Baroalvi.


The participants of the function paid glowing tribute to Shaheed Zulfikar Bhutto for his great services to Muslim Ummah and Pakistan. They said that the sacrifices rendered by the Bhutto dynasty for the country and democracy could never be forgotten. They said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is proving that he is the true political heir of his grandfather through his democratic struggle.


They welcomed the party’ nomination of Bilawal Bhutto as PPP candidate for the prime minister slot.


The PPP leaders also said that any delay in the elections would render irreparable loss to the democracy.
