Islamabad police have registered a case after the alleged fraudulent transfer of a citizen’s house in the Capital Development Authority (CDA) through forged documents came to light, 24NewsHD TV reported on Wednesday.

According to the FIR lodged at Aabpara Police Station on the complaint of the affected citizen, Malik Muhammad Kashif, several CDA officials have been nominated in the case.

Those named include Additional Director Anwarul Haq, his driver Sikandar, security guard Abdal Shah, and dealing assistant Younis.

The complainant stated that the accused, in collusion with CDA officials, managed to obtain a fake NOC, which was later used to transfer the property unlawfully.

The FIR further revealed that Malik Muhammad Kashif had purchased the house from accused Muhammad Ashraf and had paid the full agreed amount.

A written agreement for the purchase of the house was signed on April 5, 2021.

However, the accused allegedly committed fraud and forgery, depriving the complainant of his lifetime savings.

Police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
