Pakistan Under-19 opening batter Sameer Minhas created history on Tuesday by breaking the world record for the fastest century in Under-19 ODI in the tri-nation series final against Zimbabwe, 24NewsHD TV reported.
The emerging Pakistani opener reached his century in just 42 balls, registering the fastest hundred ever in youth ODI cricket.
His explosive knock came during the final of the Under-19 ODI tri-series in Harare, where Pakistan faced the host nation.
With this remarkable feat, Sameer Munhas surpassed the previous record held by India’s Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who had scored a century off 52 balls against England in July last year.
